Glide through the calm, scenic waters of Dana Point Harbor on a guided kayak tour that’s as relaxing as it is enriching. For the first hour of this half-day adventure, we paddle through the marina’s gentle channels, where sea lions lounge lazily on the docks or splash playfully in the water nearby. As we weave through sailboats and hidden coves, you’ll learn about the rich history of the area, from legendary seafarers to hidden wildlife gems like Dana Point’s rare white squirrels. Whether you’re a nature lover, a history buff, or just craving a peaceful coastal escape, this immersive experience offers a fresh perspective of Southern California’s beloved harbor.
Hike Dana Point Sea Caves
After our paddle, we trade kayaks for hiking shoes and set off along a rugged coastal trail that hugs the dramatic bluffs of Dana Point. This scenic path leads us toward the legendary sea caves, once used by early settlers to transport local goods by sea. Along the way, we pause to explore vibrant tide pools teeming with sea anemones, starfish, and other marine life. The salty breeze, crashing waves, and towering cliffs set the perfect backdrop as we uncover the hidden stories of this storied coastline. After about half a mile, we reach a breathtaking sea cave carved into the rock – an awe-inspiring spot that feels straight out of a pirate movie.

📍 10:00 AM - Meet at Dana Wharf Sportfishing & Whale Watching Dana Point, 34675 Golden Lantern, Dana Point, CA 92629, USA
10:30 AM – Kayak Dana Point Harbor
1 Hour Kayak – you will get a bit wet! Bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
11:45 AM – Return kayaks
Return to the docs and take a quick bathroom break before we head off to hike.
12 PM – Hike Dana Point Sea Caves
Bring sturdy shoes for a easy but rocky coastal hike. Approx distance there and back: 1 mile.
1:00PM – End tour at meeting point
